Khalid Al Khajah is a Bahraini singer/songwriter/producer based in Edinburgh, who produces moody electronic R&B with elements of jazz and neo-soul. His biggest influences are Prince, D'Angelo and The Blue Nile.
In 2017, Khalid released his self-produced debut EP 'Open', produced entirely in his living room. The project was released to critical acclaim, described by The Skinny as "wonderfully soulful collection of songs with an extra intimate feel." Since the release of Open, Khalid has played at a number of Open Mics events and festivals around Edinburgh, including the 2017 Edinburgh Mela, where Khalid's performance was described by The Scotsman as one of the highlights:
